We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of primary and secondary schools in Huntingdon and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning challenges. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to help each child access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN.
• Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development.
• Liaise effectively with teaching staff and external professionals.

We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Relevant qualifications are advantageous (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or similar), but not essential.
