The Opportunity Teach Agency is looking for a passionate Design & Technology Teacher for a long-term position at a partner Secondary School in Cambridgeshire.
Unlike daily supply, this role offers the chance to embed yourself in a department, manage your own workshop projects, and see your students’ designs come to life from initial concept to finished product.
What You’ll Be Doing
Inspiring Innovation: Delivering engaging DT lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
Technical Leadership: Managing a safe and productive DT environment (Resistant Materials)
Full responsibility for planning, marking, and tracking student progress over a sustained period.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Specialist Knowledge: A strong background in Design Technology
Commitment: The ability to commit until the end of the school year
DBS: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
